Concerts
Rose Creek Spring Concert
Monday, May 22
6:00 - 6:45 PM in the Rose Creek auditorium
Students must arrive by 5:30 PM in concert dress.
Instruments will be tuned and ready for them on the stage.
"Dress rehearsal"* for BOTH beginning and intermediate orchestra will be that morning at 8:00 AM. We will perform for a school assembly at 2:30. Parents are welcome to come watch!
*Students do NOT need to be in concert dress for the rehearsal assembly.
Concert Dress
It is standard for young musicians to wear “Concert Black & White” for performances.
Bottom Half
Black slacks
Black skirt or dress
Skirts/dresses must fully cover the kneecaps (or undershorts or black leggings should be worn) as musicians sit with their legs apart. Female cellists must wear slacks to accommodate their instrument between their legs
Top Half
Black or white dress shirt
optional black or white tie/bow tie
optional black vest and/or suit jacket
Black or white collared shirt/blouse
optional black or white cardigan
