Instrument Rental

Students must rent* an instrument for orchestra. Our school has a limited inventory of instruments available for rent. However, our local music stores offer competitive and affordable rent-to-own programs for $15-$30 per month. 100% of your rental fees go toward the purchase price of the instrument.  As your student grows, he/she will trade in their instrument for a larger size at no additional charge while still maintaining the same contract. 

We strongly recommend that you opt for their protection plans - this is a modest monthly fee and covers damage and theft. 

BEGINNING STUDENTS SHOULD NOT PURCHASE AN INSTRUMENT!! 

Instruments can be found in all colors and prices online, but are very poor quality, if not completely unplayable. If the instrument is the incorrect size for your student or will not stay in tune due to poor quality, it will hinder progress and lead to frustration!  

If you already own or have access to an instrument from family or friends, please bring it to class for measurement and evaluation.
